CAREER GUIDANCE & PLACEMENT CELL
OBJECTIVES
- To provide career counseling and career development sessions for Final and Internship students of St. Gregorios Dental College.
- To assist the students by giving training from successful Alumni members.
- To develop career services programs that will help students in exploring and planning career options.
- To work with students on their needs for career development.
- To conduct training, workshops, lectures, presentations, and other events to develop career planning and employability skills for students.
- To develop a positive working relationship with faculty, administrative staff, and co-workers to achieve desired goals.
- To assist placements in Alumni-owned clinics for the students passing out from the institution.
- To coordinate with academic advisers to help students in making career choices based on their academic majors.
- To aid in researching and analyzing current employment trends in various industries.
- To maintain regular contacts with potential employers for new job opportunities.
- To educate students on resume building, interview skills, and professionalism.
- To conduct mock interviews and job search workshops for students.
- To conduct career awareness events for students.
- To execute outreach programs to promote career services among students.
- To maintain a database of students’ academic and employment records.
- To conduct online orientation and career guidance classes from alumni working abroad.
