INSTITUTIONAL ETHICS COMMITTEE
The Ethical Committee at St. Gregorios Dental College is a key body that is responsible for ensuring that all research, academic, and institutional activities are conducted in accordance with the highest ethical standards. The committee’s primary role is to protect the rights, dignity, and welfare of research participants and to uphold the integrity of the institution's work.
The committee ensures that all research and institutional practices comply with ethical guidelines, national and international regulations, and institutional policies.
OBJECTIVES
- It ensures that biomedical research is conducted ethically.
- It formulates and publishes ethical guidelines.
- It performs ethical review of research protocols.
- It conducts periodic review of ethical decisions taken to ensure that they fall within the guidelines produced.
