VISION

The vision of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is to promote measures towards quality enhancement at St. Gregorios Dental College through internalizing various activities in academic and administrative processes.

MISSION

• To coordinate continuous monitoring of academic and non-academic activities to maintain the quality of performance of students and staff.
• To promote development in various strata by collecting and responding to feedback from students and stakeholders.
• To organize and ensure support from various stakeholders for arranging workshops, seminars and competitions which inculcates interest and continuous learning in students and staff.
• To implement best practices to ensure excellence of the institution.
• To promote research activities in the departments and implement programs to encourage students in developing their research aptitude.
• To appreciate achievements of students and staff and motivate them to continue to be successful.

FUNCTIONS OF IQAC

• The IQAC of St. Gregorios Dental College shall commit to establish and improve quality through appropriate mechanisms.
• The IQAC shall work in association with other coordinating committees in the college for programme reviews and coordinating the preparation of action plan in response to the programme review recommendations and the monitoring of the progress of the implementation of the action plan.
• The IQAC shall submit recommendations to uplift the status of the faculty based on stakeholder feedbacks, public survey statistics and other information.
• IQAC shall ensure the adequacy, maintenance and proper allocation of support structure and services.
• IQAC shall cooperate with the other committees in reviewing and monitoring the quality of academic programmes, research and services provided by faculties.
• IQAC shall optimize and integrate modern methods of teaching and learning.
• IQAC establishes its own internal policies and procedures for quality assurance including, curriculum revision, continuous improvement in programme delivery, student assessment, student and peer evaluation of teaching, monitoring key performance indicators such as research output, develop operational procedures with respect to governance and management.
• IQAC shall submit recommendations to the governing body to continuously improve the quality of the college.
• IQAC shall Prepare the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines
