Eligibility for MDS examinations


To be eligible for the final MDS examination, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1. Attendance: Candidates must achieve at least 80% attendance each academic year.
  2. Progress and Conduct: Candidates are required to actively participate in seminars, journal review meetings, symposia, conferences, case presentations, clinics, and didactic lectures organized by the department each year.
  3. Work Diary and Log Book: Candidates must maintain a work diary and log book. These documents should record participation in departmental training programs. The work diary and log book must be verified and certified by the Head of the Department, with satisfactory progress determined based on these records.
  4. Library Dissertation: Candidates must submit their library dissertations by the conclusion of first academic year.
  5. Thesis: Candidates are required to submit their respective thesis six months before the final year MDS examinations.
