Talk On Code Of Conduct

  • Date of Event: 29-04-2024
  • Event Venue: College Auditorium

On April 29, 2024, the Ethical Committee held a Code of Conduct Talk in the college auditorium for graduate and undergraduate students. The talk's objective was to encourage greater understanding of and adherence to ethical norms and principles in the workplace, particularly in the areas of technology and coding. The significance, tenets, and practical implementation of codes of conduct in diverse professional contexts were the main topics of discussion at the event. Dr. Anila S. talked on the meaning and concept of a code of conduct in his opening remarks. During the discussion, the core values of integrity, respect, accountability, and transparency—which form the foundation of a strong code of conduct—were also thoroughly discussed. The event's goals were to raise awareness of the value of clear communication in dentistry practice and to give dental practitioners the resources and techniques they need to become more fluent in language.

The application of these ideas to actual situations provided the context for their explanation. Through the interactive conversations at the event, participants were invited to express their ideas, opinions, and insights about how the code of conduct is applied and issues that arise in various professional settings. Peer learning and the exchange of knowledge were enabled by this interactive component. Participants were asked to share their thoughts, opinions, and insights about how the code of conduct is applied and problems that come up in different professional settings during the interactive conversations during the event. This interactive element allowed for peer learning and information sharing.
