The Continuing Dental Education program on Dental Photography, conducted on March 13, 2024, at the Department of Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge under the guidance of Dr. Vijit, was a pivotal initiative aimed at enhancing the photography skills of both staff and postgraduate students in dentistry. Throughout the session, participants delved into fundamental photography principles, familiarized themselves with dental photography equipment, and honed their abilities to capture and enhance clinical images effectively. Emphasis was placed on the significance of sequential photography for comprehensive case documentation and its role in improving patient communication. The program received commendation from attendees for its practical approach and hands-on training, with participants expressing confidence in integrating dental photography into their clinical practice. Moving forward, the department intends to further enrich the curriculum with advanced topics in dental photography, ensuring continued professional development and enhanced patient care.
