The course "Oral Disease Burden and Oral Workforce in India" included a thorough analysis of the current state of oral health issues and the ability of the dental staff to successfully address them. The session, which was led by Dr Subramanian, carefully examined the complex problems related to the prevalence, risk factors, and disparities of oral disease in various parts of India. The intricate relationship between socioeconomic factors, access to care, and oral health outcomes was deeply understood by participants thanks to data-driven presentations, interactive conversations, and stakeholder insights. Additionally, the class evaluated the workforce distribution and the current infrastructure for oral healthcare critically, highlighting areas that needed improvement as well as creative ways to increase oral health equity and provide all demographic segments with access to high-quality care. The significance of ongoing education in providing high-quality dental care was emphasised by this lively and educational event, which gave participants the confidence to handle complexity.
