Cleft Lip and Palate: Past Present and Future, the CDE program conducted at St. Gregorios Dental College on 16.08.2019 aimed to provide valuable insights and skills for the postgraduate dental students and staff to effectively diagnose and manage the patients with cleft lip and palate. The class was taken by Dr. Mathew P C MDS. The aim of the class was to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of cleft lip and palate, including their definition, prevalence, causes, effects on individuals, and multidisciplinary management. By exploring these topics, the class aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively care for individuals affected by these conditions and improve their overall quality of life. The program was attended by the postgraduate students of St. Gregorios Dental College. Faculty members provided individualised feedback to students during the entire session focusing on the diagnosis and management of cleft. The lecture received positive feedback from the students and other staff members. Students reported increased desire to know more about the advancements in managing cleft lip and palate.
